Good news everyone. Twitter has just gone mobile!

Just use your handphone's web browser, go to m.twitter.com, login and you are ready to twit! Its that simple. They even show the previous 5 post from you and your friend. Just like what you see on the twitter page. Cool huh? (I wish I have another camera now to take a snapshot of my handphone screen)

Say bye bye to the 15cent international sms and hi to GPRS charges.

We all know that twitter is going to be the next big thing after blogger, flickr and youtube. I'm glad I learnt about this amazing tool at an early stage and get to see more and more users joining.

Twitter has been quite fun. Especially the ridstar channel. If you are new to twitter, this is the first 2 person you should add to your friend list. Trust me, you won't regret it.

Twitter can be very addictive too. 95% of the SMS that I received are from twitter. Just last month, I send 36 oversea SMS. To Twitter of course. I'm starting to find that I no longer have much friends that SMS me. Some even use twitter to private SMS me because it is free if you use the online service.

I'm beginning to know more and more people who use twitter. I'm actually following quite a number of people now. And my phone keep beeping with SMS. My dad even ask what business am I doing lately. Why am I getting so much SMS lately? I don't know how to explain the concept of twitter to him. I just told him it's some internet thing.

I think I'm almost reaching a point where twitter is affecting my daily life. I carry my handphone with me whenever I go out. And twitter follows me. I would really love to follow everyone's twitter. But I really can't. Its too distracting.



To my friends on twitter: Please forgive me if I'm not following you when you added me. Its not that I'm not interested in your twitter message. Its just that I can't follow everyone. I hope you will understand.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Been busy at work lately when I should be busy with my assignment.

Left office on Thursday at 11 plus and went hunting for dinner. Went straight to bed after reaching home. Haven't been so tired before.

I've been slogging at work lately. Sometimes wonder why am I working so hard when my pay is still so low.

Saw Cobalt Paladin's twitter message today morning.



It seems like everyone is slogging at work.
The only difference is.....

I'm slogging for someone's business
He is slogging for his own business.

Sometimes, I wish I could slog for my own business. At least at the end of the day, its my business.

Or even better, get someone to slog for my own business.

Don't play play, even the pingsg shoutbox also got a twitter account now.

What it does is, when someone 'shout' at the shoutbox, it will be published to the twitter and thus sending a sms to those who subscribe to the pingsg shoutbox twitter.

Cool huh?

But subscribe at your own risk. Your handphone will be flooded with SMS if there is a chat going on at the shoutbox. Haha...

Twitter is getting cooler and cooler each day.

We all know that Twitter is a micro-blogging too. You can update via IM, web or handphone. A SMS of will be send to your handphone if your friends update their Twitter.

We got Singapore Weather that give you the weather forecast.
We got Macworld Twitter which everyone can update info about Macworld.

Now we got BBC news!! Yeap. And a whole lot of them. Imagine.... BBC news on your handphone.

I'm wondering if I could copy the codes and use them on Channel News Asia and Todayonline. hmmm.....

So what's next for Twitter? I'm getting excited already. :D

Still wondering why a non-mac user me is subscribing to Macworld Twitter. To get my handphone flooded with Macworld news and be envy of the Mac side?

I seriously believe I belong to the Mac side. Why am I still using a PC?

PS: Remember to clear my handphone. Expecting tons of updates tonight from Macworld. Did I hear someone say iPhone? Hmmm.....

The Twitter badge at my sidebar has been causing some problems recently. The sidebar couldn't load completely whenever the twitter server is unreachable.

Graham Waldon from google was guest blogging on twitter blog recently and address on this issue. The solution was very simple. Simply put the last line of code at the bottom of the html. The last line are the codes responsible for connecting twitter. Since they are being run last, they will not affect the loading of the rest of the page.

I hope I'm doing the right thing.

Now.... all I need is twitter server to be down so that I can confirm what I'm doing is correct. Can someone at twitter pull the plug for 5 mins for me to test it out? haha. Just kidding.

Twitter has been fun lately. It still work via SMS when the underwater cables were broken.

Oh, if you are from Singapore, do add Singapore Weather as your friend. He will give you the weather forecast for the day. But its always raining this few days. So makes not much difference... I guess

Still wondering if it is a human or a bot behind.

Discovered something interesting call Twitter. Not quite sure when it actually started. Think quite recent only. But it sure looks interesting.

It is like another blog. Except that every entry cannot exceed 156 characters. Its actually meant for SMS blogging. Too their phone number is a UK number. If I'm not wrong, 1 SMS to UK is 15cents. That is abit expensive. Don't think I'll be updating via SMS often.

They have those cool looking badges which you can add to your blog. But sadly, their badges are too big for my template. Damn those real estate agent for making the side bar so small. If I make the badge smaller, it will become hard to read the text. And I still can't figure out how to adjust the side bar to become bigger. Argh.... I'm an idiot when come to CSS.

Too bad, I can't have that stylo-milo badge on my blog. But I use another version. Nothing fancyful, just plain text. But better than nothing. :D

Another interesting feature is that you can receive SMS when your friends update their Twitter. Good thing is that, its totally free to recieve SMS from oversea numbers. Haven't got the chance to try that feature out yet as I haven't got any friends in there. Need to explore more......
