Good or bad news?
Just got an email from my director before I left office for the long weekend.
I wonder if this is considered good or bad news? I was already preparing to leave the company. I've even decided where to go for my farewell lunch.
I guess I'll just do what I planned to do.
Your request for $xxx increment is approved. Look fwd to you renewing your contract with us.

If it is what you want and consider good then I suggest take it up first.
It is better to be employed paying you to look for another job, than being jobless hunting for a new job increasing the burning rate of your savings.
Anyway, it is time to give yourself another chance and opportunity also moving away from your first job to gain more experiences too.
Stay on, learn all the wrong things that companies are doing to shift their good and talented workers out and learnt and never to apply on your own workers when one day you are ready to be your own boss.

Crossroads, why are there so many crossroads in our lives..
Anyway, its really up to you. The job market now is looking real good, its the employee's market instead of the employer's market and your director knew it. The best strategy now is to make sure the current employees stay on. In any case, its good that you got a pay increment. You can take your time to decide if you still wanna leave, while enjoying the high pay at the same time..
So pay increment, got treat? :D

Didnt we already agree that the next gathering, DK is treating us???? :)
Anyway, like what Paddy said, it is always better to accept what they offer you now, while looking for a better one. Just that, do you need to sign any contract if you accept this?
If you need to, what are the prospects you currently have on hand that you are very very confident that you can get them right after CNY?
Need to think and plan all this through first lor.... :)
Gong Xi Fa Cai lor!!
